Abstract

Keanekaragaman suku bangsa serta budaya Indonesia sendiri terbentuk melalui sebuah proses seperti, kedatangan imigran asing yang datang ke Nusantara dan kemudian menetap. Seperti apa jadinya pribadi kita sangat dipengaruhi oleh enkulturasi. Masjid bukanlah sebuah karya budaya yang mati, ia hidup, tumbuh dan berkembang secara dinamis; seiring dengan tumbuh dan berkembangnya masyarakat itu sendiri. Berdasarkan penelusuran penulis, ada 20 bentuk atap tumpang pada masjid dari 22 masjid di Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengkaji unsur budaya apa saja yang mempengaruhi bentuk atap masjid dan bagaimana bentuk dari akulturasi budaya-budaya tersebut pada masjid-masjid di Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karya arsitektur sebagai bagian dari sistem kebudayaan Hindu, Islam Tasawuf, dan Eropa berakulturasi sehingga terjadi dan tertampilkan dengan baik pada bentuk-bentuk atap masjid di Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Bentuk akulturasi dari ketiga budaya tersebut adalah bentuk atap masjid tumpang yang bertingkat dua atau tiga (budaya Hindu dan prinsip-prinsip Islam Tasawuf) yang di atas atap ditutupi dengan mustaka yang berbentuk seperti bawang (budaya Eropa). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui transformasi sturktur yang ada dalam segi-segi kehidupan masyarakat Buton termasuk dalam karya sastranya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Transformasi Levi-Strauss. Setiap masyarakat mempunyai struktkur berpikir berbeda-beda yang dilatar belakangi oleh budaya masyarakat tersebut. Masyarakat Buton tentunya juga memiliki struktur berpikir sendiri sesuai dengan latar belakang budaya dan system kepercayaan yang dimiliki. Sebagai suatu struktur, tentunya hal ini akan dilihat dalam aplikasinya pada segi-segi kehidupan masyarakatnya. Dari uraian hasil analisis ini terlihat adanya transformasi dari struktur lima yang dianut oleh masyarakat Buton di mana Struktur tersebut mewujud dalam berbagai segi kehidupannya bahkan dalam karya sastranya. Pada tataran transformasi yang terdapat dalam karya sastra, hal ini bersifat tidak disadari, namun struktur tresebut dapat terungkap dengan merelasikannya dengan karya sastra milik masyarakat berbeda yang menganut struktur yang sama yakni struktur lima. Abstract

This study focuses on determining women's access and control in the management of natural resources, describing the independence of women, and knowing the forms of empowerment by the oil palm company to transform functions of forests. The scope of this study is women who joined K2PD in District of Anggaberi, Konawe Regency. This study is a qualitative research by applying the techniques of observation, participation of observation, and deep interview. Determination of informants uses snowballing techniques. To deepen this study, the study also uses literature review and secondary data collection with reference to Spradley. The result of study found that women who joined K2PD have limitations in the management of natural resources after an influx of the oil palm company. However, it was a positive impact for the reduction of unemployment in the village who had worked as an employee of the office or as a field worker. After operating for five years, the oil palm company had not empowering to the community, especially in the rural development working groups and the general public. Abstract

Indonesia is still facing serious problems in terms of maternal and child health. From all districts and cities in Indonesia, one of district that has high numbers of maternal and child health is in Sampang East Java. From all sub-districts in this district, there is one sub-district that has a good achievement namely Omben. This research was conducted on Temoran village in Omben subdistrict that has purposes; 1) to explore the concept of culture in traditional societies of Sampang district related to maternal health (pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and KB), 2) to explore the involvement of non-medical personnel in health services for mothers and their interaction with medical personnel, and 3) to find out the right capital that must be held by the health workers to support their performance in terms of traditional public health. This study was conducted through qualitative methods using ethnography design. Primary data was collected by in-depth interviews and participant observation. The results showed some cultural elements in the society of Sampang Madura related to the concept of maternal and child health and the close engagement of traditional birth attendant during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and newborn. The unique cultural elements of Madura placing medical personnel, particularly midwives, as an intermediary between the medical and culture practice. In this position, the village midwife is not only required to have medical skills, but also cultural and social capital so that the practice and all of the health programmes can be accepted and implemented by the community. Abstract

Sastra anak memiliki peran positif untuk mendukung proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak. Di tengah gempuran teknologi yang kini memanjakan anak dengan berbagai fasilitas gadget yang kebanyakan menimbulkan dampak negatif pada anak, sastra anak hadir untuk memberikan alternatif dalam memberikan hiburan pada anak. Hanya saja, salah satu permasalahan dalam pola didik anak usia sekolah di Indonesia adalah rendahnya penerapan budaya baca. Para orang tua cenderung tidak menyediakan wahana efektif untuk mengasah minat baca mereka. Orang tua kebanyakan memilih memanjakan anak dengan fasilitas gadget, sementara mereka lupa jika membaca adalah hal paling efektif untuk membangun kecerdasan anak. Untuk tujuan menghibur misalnya, sastra anak cukup efektif dijadikan wahana bermain anak. Sastra anak selain bersifat menghibur, juga memberikan nilai-nilai moral pada anak. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan langkah untuk meningkatkan minat baca anak sekaligus memberdayakan peran sastra anak untuk membangun generasi-generasi berintegritas. Abstract

This paper entitled "Discourse Perspective and Analysis" a critique to the development of discourse and its theoretical analysis. The method used is descriptive analytic with discourse analysis approach. The term of discourse has been very popular in Indonesia nowadays, especially those related to political discourse. But not a few people even understand the word of discourse to something that is not necessarily true. If seeing the meaning of true discourse, it is more positive word based on the viewpoint of the scientific language of discourse. Discussion of the results obtained that the discourse and analysis can be viewed from various angles. Abstract

This study is about analyzing utterances and values ​​in Ewa Wuna on Muna society. The aims of this study are: (1) to analyze and to know the content of utterances about Ewa Wuna. (2) analyze the utterance values about Ewa Wuna. The methodology used is descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. Data was collected using the method; (1) literature searches, (2) in-depth and open interviews, (3) recording and documentation, and (4) observations involved. The research data are data obtained from informants in the form of Ewa Wuna utterances. The determination of informants in this study used the Snowball technique. The theory used in this research is the theory of value. From the analysis, aspects of Ewa Wuna utterances consist of: The name of stream, History of Ewa Wuna, Nature of Ewa Wuna, Genealogy Teacher-Student, Incidental of Study, Terms Being a Disciple, Sequence Learning In Ewa Wuna, and Values​​. In the analysis of values ​​in Ewa Wuna utterances contained some values ​​which are:(1) religious values;​, (2) philosophical values; (3) ethical values​; (4) aesthetic values, (5) politeness values, (6) solidarity values; (7) education values; (8) honesty values; (9) fortitude and patience values; and (10) sportivity values. Abstract

This research is motivated by ethnic diversity in the city of Kendari which often led to the social friction and mostly constructed as social disintegration which stems from a personal feud then escorted to the ethnic problem. This feeling needs to be tested in a scientific sphere in which an issue can not be accepted and taken for granted without conducting the assessment, so that later statements and conclusions drawn have a proper scientific basis. According to the writer’s presumption, social disintegration that has occurred is not understood as a matter of social common, but can be traced roots of the problem, especially coupled with the intensity of the frequent occurrence. So it can be assumed that the conflict happened because wake of the negative stereotypes of each ethnicity, so that social integration is often cracked though only bothered with trivial reasons. The desired result of this research was to determine the ethnic stereotypes of the local in the city of Kendari which includes ethnic Tolaki, ethnic Muna and Buton ethnic integration always torn along with the passing of time. This study used a qualitative approach, the subject was the students and the community in the Kambu Village and Lalolara Village. Abstract

This article is the result of research with the title “analysis of social conflict in Muna society implemented in Katobu District Muna Regency”. Objective of this study was to determine the cause of social conflict in the Katobu District Muna Regency, and to know how to make a model of handling of social conflicts that occurred in the Katobu District, The study was planned for two years. The first year was 2015 had been implemented. The results of the first year of research showed that the cause of social conflict in Muna is the consumption of alcohol, misunderstanding between youths, planned violence, and conflict of interest. While the second year is 2016, the writer is trying to create a model format on handling social conflicts in Muna. This research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. To get the field data, the techniques used were techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. While the source of the data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained directly on the object of study or directly to the public, while secondary data is data obtained from documents or previous research results. These results indicate that the handling of social conflicts in Katobu District Muna Regency is through improving the skills of youth, opening of new jobs, and increase the intensive communication between communities. While the model of conflict resolution after extensive research it is necessary to disseminate to the government about the findings of the field in accordance with the possibility of social conflict that can be occured, after that government should make policies to implement some of the findings from the field, so that social conflict can be minimized or even eliminated.
